GTM Engineer

What we're building

The #1 priority of every CEO is to grow the company. But the business teams responsible for revenue are stuck in a soul-crushing web of dependencies that prevent them from growing. Marketing has a winning idea but design and engineering can't prioritize building the campaign. Sales needs a custom business case to close a deal but marketing is slammed. Every dependency is revenue missed.

We built Mutiny to solve this problem. Mutiny is the self-improving AI infrastructure for GTM teams to execute faster and close more revenue. Our ambition: do for revenue velocity what Cursor and Claude Code did for engineering velocity. With Mutiny, everyone in sales and marketing gets a bench of GTM athletes that handle any work across their revenue motion and learn from what's actually moved their deals. From breaking into new verticals and personas to personalizing every interaction with every customer, Mutiny takes on the manual work so your team can run faster.

Mutiny was founded in 2018. By Silicon Valley's scoreboard, we had made it: $72M raised from YC and Sequoia, and eight-figure ARR from companies like Uber and Snowflake. But we could see AI was about to rewrite how GTM works, and we wanted to lead that transformation for our industry. So 6 months ago we shut down the eight-figure SaaS business, moved the team in-person (15 people), and rebuilt Mutiny as an agent-first platform for GTM teams.

In April we re-launched, and the bet worked. Anthropic showcased us as a leader in AI GTM. MRR is growing at 100% week-over-week, 10x faster than any product we have launched, with customers like Rippling, Uber, Snowflake, Zendesk, and Gusto. Now it’s time to grow the team that will help us build a generational company.

The Opportunity

GTM teams are stuck. The systems behind sales and marketing are fragmented, slow, and hard to scale, which makes it nearly impossible to move quickly even when you know what to do. The best teams are starting to fix this by building real infrastructure underneath their GTM motion. Automations, integrations, and AI-native workflows that let small teams operate like much bigger ones. That's the opportunity at Mutiny. We're not just building a product, we're building the infrastructure for how modern GTM teams operate. We're looking for someone who can build that same infrastructure inside our own walls and define what GTM Engineering looks like here.

What You'll Own

You'll own the systems that power how Mutiny grows. That means everything from how we run outbound, to how we onboard users, to how we segment and route data across tools. You'll take what is currently manual, fragmented, or slow, and turn it into something fast, reliable, and scalable. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and product to understand where things break, then build the systems to fix them. This is not about running campaigns. It's about building the infrastructure behind them. That means:

  • Building the automations, workflows, and internal tools that power outbound, onboarding, and routing

  • Connecting the systems behind GTM, including APIs, data flows, enrichment, and segmentation

  • Turning what works into something repeatable through playbooks, automations, and tooling

  • Partnering with sales, marketing, and product to find what's broken and fix it at the system level

  • Bringing AI into how we operate, not just what we ship You'll leave every system better than you found it.

Who You Are

You think in systems, not just tasks. You naturally look for patterns and bottlenecks and want to turn one-off work into something repeatable. You're a builder. You've shipped automations, workflows, or internal tools that made a team faster or more effective. You're comfortable with the plumbing. APIs, data flows, enrichment, routing. You know how to connect systems and make them work. You're curious about AI. You're already experimenting with ways to automate or augment GTM work. Speed matters to you. You'd rather ship something quickly and improve it than wait for the perfect solution. You like figuring things out. There's no playbook for this role, you'll define a lot of it. You communicate clearly. You can explain what you're building and why it matters across teams. What you bring:

  • Experience building systems, automations, or workflows that supported GTM teams

  • Comfort working across tools, APIs, and data

  • Strong problem-solving instincts

  • Curiosity for AI and modern GTM workflows

  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, New York City This role probably isn't for you if you're looking for a clearly defined scope, if you prefer running campaigns over building systems, or if you need everything perfectly scoped before starting.

What You'll Get

  • A front-row seat to building a modern GTM engine from the ground up

  • Direct impact on pipeline, conversion, and revenue

  • The opportunity to define what GTM Engineering looks like at Mutiny

  • A high-ownership role where you can ship quickly and see results

  • An integral role in building our NYC office culture

  • Competitive base salary, equity, and full benefits with an estimated range of $150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience

  • Flexible paid time off and generous parental leave

  • 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Lunch provided daily in our NYC office

  • Office-first culture with a vibrant HQ in Flatiron/Union Square

Compensation Range: $150K - $200K
