The 208-room dual-brand Courtyard/Residence Inn by Marriott in Madison, AL will be opening in the Summer of 2025 in Town Madison near Toyota Field and Redstone Arsenal. We are searching for an individual that loves to clean, takes pride in their work and is dependable! Must be available to work weekends.

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms, and providing a memorable experience that leaves our guests wanting to book their next stay!

Some duties and responsibilities include:

• Cleaning the guest room and bathroom – vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, changing and laundering linen, scrubbing bathroom surfaces, and all other related duties.
• Dispose of trash from bins and containers.
• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
• Report repairs and replacements needed immediately.
• Ensure safe, sanitary storage and care of products.
• Able to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and managers.

Summary

As a Housekeeping team member, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, your core skills in cleaning and hospitality will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Your experience in residential or commercial cleaning work will enhance our commitment to high standards of cleanliness. By utilizing your knowledge of housekeeping, you will contribute to a positive guest experience and uphold the reputation of our hotel in the competitive hospitality industry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, preferably in a hotel, residential or commercial setting
• Strong cleaning and floor care skills
• Stain removal care
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices
• Ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
