Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive assistance throughout their visit
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Conduct product demonstrations to inform customers about features and benefits of merchandise
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable items to enhance their experience
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and perform basic math calculations for transactions
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
• Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups are highly valued
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, product demos, upselling techniques, and grocery store operations is advantageous
