We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services available to guests.
Skills
- Strong background in guest services and customer service within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit processes is a plus.
- A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
