We are a fast paced, high end AVEDA Concept Hair Salon. We specialize in great customer experience and guest satisfaction.

As one of our receptionists you must be able to function in the fast paced environment but also be able to keep yourself busy and productive when there is down time. Light cleaning and organizing during down time. We have 7 stylists and 1 esthetician that you will be responsible for assisting in scheduling. Must be able to answer a high volume of calls while maintaining excellent customer service.

This job is 4 or more hours per week Monday through Saturday.

Hours on schedule 2:30-6:30 Monday-Friday / Saturday 8:45-5:30

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

-Exceed guest expectations

-Execute standard telephone procedure using appropriate customer service etiquette

-Greet guests -take coats, offer tea & coffee, notify service technician

-Schedule guest salon and spa services, while implementing proper procedures

-Support service staff by serving as a retail advisor

-Resolve guest challenges, utilizing support from Salon Manager when necessary

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Multi-tasking seamlessly while maintaining organization

-Perform opening and closing procedures; responsible for balancing and checking register drawer at close of business

-History of dependable attendance and punctuality

-Maximize books for each service technician by educating guests on services and cross-selling services

-Close sales and encourage guest to pre-book services

-Create and maintain customer database

Front desk receptionist Skills and requirements:

-Excellent customer services skills, at least 1 year experience

-Excellent communication and organization skills

-Ability to manage time effectively

-Self motivated

-Ability to perform basic computer skills

-Flexible availability

-Manage time efficiently

-Follow through in taking deposits per salon policy for new guests
