Guest Services Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Guest Services Supervisor to lead our front desk team and elevate the guest experience at our newly renovated Courtyard by Marriott Houston Hobby Airport. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily guest interactions, manage guest relations, and ensure seamless operations across all guest service touchpoints. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold exceptional customer service standards, and support the overall hospitality experience for our diverse clientele. Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
  • Lead and motivate a team of guest services associates to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Handle complex guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, ensuring prompt and courteous communication with guests and internal departments
  • Oversee night audit processes to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Maintain high standards of phone etiquette, guest relations, and overall hospitality service excellence
  • Support multilingual communication efforts to assist international guests effectively
  • Collaborate with hotel management to implement service improvements and staff training initiatives

Experience

  • Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles with a focus on guest services
  • Strong background in front desk operations, including night audit procedures and guest relations management
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve a global clientele effectively
  • Familiarity with hotel experience systems, multi-line phone systems, and resort operations is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in a hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette, guest services standards, and hotel management best practices
