Guidance Counsellor

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Guidance Counsellor to support students in their academic, personal, and career development. The counsellor will play a key role in helping students discover their interests, make informed academic choices, and build strong profiles for higher education while ensuring their overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct RAISEC aptitude and interest assessments to help students identify strengths and career inclinations
• Develop and maintain Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for all students
• Provide one-on-one guidance counselling addressing academic, personal, and social needs
• Mentor students on subject selection, co-curricular activities, and career pathways
• Lay the foundation for college and university applications, including profile building
• Guide students in preparation for SAT, MDCAT, ECAT, and other university entrance tests
• Actively engage students in co-curricular activities such as sports, public speaking, and leadership programs
• Liaise with external organizations, institutions, and mentors for student profile development
• Organize career talks and interactive sessions with alumni and industry professionals
• Support students in understanding and overcoming social, emotional, or behavioural challenges through individual counselling
• Focus on students’ academic growth, personal development, and overall wellbeing

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with school-age students (preferred)
• Empathetic, organized, and proactive in student support
