Kathy’s Music is seeking an experienced Guitar Teacher to join our Mt. Lebanon location. If you enjoy helping students grow as musicians and want a music studio that supports your teaching, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

• Teach weekly private guitar lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Select engaging, developmentally appropriate repertoire and curriculum.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and goals.
• Prepare students for recitals and studio performance opportunities.
• Commit to a 12-month schedule (34-week school year plus 8-week summer session).

What We’re Looking For

• Teaching experience (1-2 years) with private lesson students is required.
• Strong musicianship and the ability to meet students where they are.
• Clear communication with students and parents.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
• Degree in Music Education, Guitar Performance, or equivalent experience preferred.
