Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install various types of gutters using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and function.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans.
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and ensuring all necessary materials are on hand.
• Perform repairs on existing gutter systems, including sealing leaks with caulking and replacing damaged sections.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high safety standards on construction sites.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure installations meet industry standards and client expectations.

Requirements

• Prior gutter installation experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and other construction equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to gutter installation projects.
• Familiarity with construction estimating principles for material planning and project management.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding.
