Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Gynecology and Obstetrics departments.
- Assist doctors during normal deliveries, C-sections, and DMO (medical termination of pregnancy) procedures.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
- Manage OPD and IPD patients, ensuring timely medication and comfort.
- Assist in sample collection and maintaining proper labeling and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain delivery rooms, procedure rooms, and postnatal wards.
- Educate mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding, hygiene, and newborn handling.
- Maintain sterilization of equipment and ensure infection control practices are followed.
- Coordinate with the gynecology team and maintain proper handover between shifts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics nursing, including labor room and OT exposure.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of gynecology procedures, normal and C-section deliveries.
- Experience in IPD and OPD management.
- Knowledge of DMO procedures, postnatal care, and emergency handling.
- Good communication and patient counseling skills.
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including night duties.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time role with rotational shifts (morning, evening, night).
- Involves direct interaction with patients and doctors in delivery and gyne wards.
- Exposure to clinical environments and infection control areas.
