Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient consultations for gynaecological and obstetric conditions.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies from admission through delivery.
• Perform obstetric surgeries including caesarean sections and instrumental deliveries.
• Conduct gynaecological surgeries addressing benign and malignant conditions.
• Monitor postpartum recovery and implement follow-up care protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.
• Participate in departmental audits, teaching sessions and quality improvement initiatives.

Skill & Experience

• Proficient surgical and procedural skills in obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Strong diagnostic ability with familiarity in ultrasound and imaging interpretation.
• Excellent communication and counselling skills for patients and families.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency and labour settings.
• Team-oriented mindset with collaboration across multiple healthcare disciplines.
• Commitment to continuous learning, up-to-date practices and clinical guidelines.
