Gypsum carpenter

We are looking for a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our interior fit-out team. The candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing gypsum board partitions, ceilings, and related works as per project requirements and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Install gypsum board partitions, ceilings, wall linings, and decorative gypsum works.

Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards according to layouts, drawings, and site conditions.

Construct frames using metal or wooden studs for gypsum partition and ceiling systems.

Perform finishing works including joint treatment, taping, sanding, and surface preparation.

Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure work is carried out to approved details.

Repair and maintain existing gypsum partitions, ceilings, and decorative elements.

Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and other trades for smooth workflow.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or in similar fit-out works.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements.

Knowledge of gypsum systems, false ceilings, drywall partitions, and decorative works.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
