Gypsum Carpenter

Responsibilities:

• Execute cutting, shaping, and fitting gypsum boards with precision.
• Work alongside designers, project managers, and other trades to deliver quality fitout solutions.
• Handle repairs and modifications as needed during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain tools and ensure a clean and safe working area.
• Carry out detailed woodwork such as doors, skirting, and custom panels.
• Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, drywall panels, and ceiling tiles as per drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve on-site challenges

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in gypsum/drywall carpentry within the fitout industry.
• Strong understanding of interior fitout methods, shop drawings, and site measurements.
• Skilled with carpentry tools, laser levels, and power tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding.
• Able to work independently or with a team
