Gypsum carpenter

Gypsum Carpenter – Job Responsibilities Install gypsum board (drywall), partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative gypsum works as per drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, fix, and finish gypsum boards accurately using proper tools and materials. Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and site instructions. Install metal framing, channels, studs, and supports for gypsum systems. Apply joint tape, compound, and finishing coats to ensure smooth surfaces. Repair, replace, and maintain damaged gypsum boards, ceilings, and partitions. Ensure alignment, level, and quality of work according to standards. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site. Follow safety rules, use PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Report material requirements, damages, or site issues to the supervisor. Complete tasks within the given time schedule and maintain productivity.
