Gypsum carpenter

An Interior Design / Fit out company in Dubai required a Gypsum Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess good abilities in partitioning, gypsum board installation, and ceiling works, and decorative false ceiling designs, with a focus on quality works and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Install gypsum boards for walls, ceilings, and partitions as per design drawings.
• Construct false ceilings, decorative coves, and feature walls using gypsum materials.
• Read and interpret interior layouts and technical blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets accurately with minimal waste.
• Perform taping, jointing, and surface finishing to a paint-ready standard.
• Coordinate with designers and site engineers for seamless project execution.
• Repair and patch drywall as needed for renovation or maintenance tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments.

Requirements

• Presently in UAE
• CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY
• Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a gypsum carpenter in UAE or GCC
• Experience in commercial residential and retail fit outs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layout plans
• Skilled in measuring, cutting and assembling drywall systems
• Proficient with hand and power tools (e.g. cutting tools, screw guns, trowels, sanders)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality finish
