Gypsum Carpenter

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Gypsum Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in gypsum partition works, false ceilings, decorative ceiling designs, and interior fit-out projects. The candidate must be able to read drawings, work independently, and deliver high-quality finishing within project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install gypsum board partitions, false ceilings, and drywall systems.
• Construct and finish gypsum ceilings, bulkheads, niches, and decorative features.
• Measure, cut, and fix gypsum boards according to drawings and specifications.
• Install metal framing, suspension systems, and ceiling grids.
• Perform joint treatment, taping, and surface preparation for painting.
• Repair and maintain existing gypsum installations.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on site.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Gypsum Carpenter.
• Experience in commercial and residential interior fit-out projects.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of gypsum partition systems, suspended ceilings, and finishing techniques.
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.

Preferred:

• GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage.
• Valid QID (transferable) is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
