In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely collecting donated items from donors, delivering merchandise to our ReStore, and supporting the movement of goods with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to pick up donations from residential or commercial locations.
• Load and unload donated items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Deliver donations to the ReStore location efficiently while adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with donors, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and route documentation throughout your shift.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Assist with ReStore organization by moving items within the facility as needed, supporting overall operational flow.

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse logistics with a focus on customer interaction.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
• Strong ability to load, unload, lift heavy items safely, and perform physical tasks associated with moving donations.
• Familiarity with route driving, manual transmission vehicles, and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with donors and team members.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while managing multiple pickups and deliveries efficiently.
