Hair Colorist/Hair Stylist

Essa Dora Salon & Spa is Chicago's premier full-service, boutique salon & spa, located in the heart of the beautiful Old Town neighborhood.

We are currently seeking an experienced, talented, professional and stylish hair colorist/hair stylist.

We utilize L'Oreal Professionel & OligoPro hair color and carry high-end retail products including: Kerastase, Aveda, Oligo Blacklight, ColorWow, Keratin Complex, Dermalogica, Rewined, RevitaLash and BABOR.

We are a high volume salon, with our clients coming from all paths of life, ranging from business professionals, working and stay-home parents, students, tourists and more!

Our very experienced staff is positive, professional, creative, motivated and looking for the right person to join our dedicated team! Part and Full-Time opportunities available. Existing clientele is highly preferred!

Must have a current Illinois Cosmetology License and preferably knowledgeable on the L'Oreal Professional and OligoPro color line.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients by understanding their hair color and styling needs.
• Perform hair coloring, cutting, and styling services while adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
• Utilize knowledge of color theory and hair extensions to achieve desired results.
• Make appropriate product recommendations and receive commission for retail sales to enhance the salon experience.
• Create content to be featured on social media platforms.
• Engage clients in client referral program to build clientele.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $100.00 per hour
