Hair Specialist

· Deliver a wide range of professional hair services including shampooing, cutting, colouring (highlights, ombre and balayage), blow-drying, styling, keratin/protein/botox treatments, and application of hair extensions.

· Conduct thorough hair and scalp consultations to tailor treatments based on individual needs.

· Ensure proper sterilization and sanitation of all tools, brushes, combs, and equipment after each use, in compliance with clinic hygiene protocols.

· Recommend suitable retail products and upsell additional services to enhance client results.

· Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. colour protection creams and hydrating masks)

· Maintain accurate client records including service history and treatment preferences.

· Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout the experience.

· Building a professional relationship with loyal clients to ensure return visits.

· Stay current with industry trends, styles, and product knowledge.

· Assist with social media content creation if needed (before/after shots, time-lapse treatments, etc.).

· Adhere strictly to company grooming standards, service protocols, and attendance policies.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

· Work experience as a Hair Stylist/Specialist, Hairdresser, Colourist or similar role

· Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers

· Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques

· Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g., braids and top knots)

· Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing

· Up-to-date with industry trends

· Excellent communication skills

· Physical stamina to stand for long hours

· Flexibility to work in shifts

Valid license from a cosmetology school
