Hair Stylist

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist with atleast 6 years of experience and an already existing clientele to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to create stunning looks for our clients while providing exceptional service in a welcoming salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients based on their preferences and trends.
• scheduling and client management.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
• Perform makeup application services as requested by clients.
• Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as needed.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and continue developing skills through ongoing education.
• Utilize straight razors and barbering techniques when necessary to meet client requests.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong understanding of store management practices within a salon setting is an advantage.
• Experience in mentoring or training staff is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with color theory and various hair treatment methods is essential.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards effectively.
• Experience with straight razor techniques and barbering skills is beneficial but not required.
