Ocean Blu Salon is a modern, high-end salon in St. Johns, FL, focused on beautiful color, blonding, grey coverage, and extensions in a warm, friendly environment. We’re big on education, amazing guest experiences, and helping our team grow—not just filling a chair.

We’re currently looking to grow our team with:

• Experienced Hair Stylists / Colorists
• 2 Associate Stylists who want a clear path to Level 1 stylist

Roles - Experienced Stylist / Colorist

You are a licensed stylist with salon floor experience who loves color, blonding, and helping guests feel amazing.

You will:

• Provide high-quality hair services (color, blonding, foils, grey coverage, cuts, styling, etc.)
• Deliver a guest experience that is warm, professional, and consistent
• Consult with guests to understand their hair goals and create a plan
• Educate guests on at-home maintenance and products
• Take before/after photos and content (we’ll help with this)
• Work with our front desk and team to keep your books strong and organized

Associate Stylist (Assistant / Junior Stylist)

You’re newer to the industry or just out of school and want a structured, paid program to grow into a Level 1 stylist.

You will:

• Assist lead stylists with color, shampoos, toners, blowouts, and finishing
• Participate in regular education and training sessions
• Practice technical skills on models/guests under supervision
• Learn timing, formulation, consultation, and guest care standards
• Build your confidence and skills so you can transition into your own chair

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Florida cosmetology license
• For experienced stylists:
• Salon floor experience (color/blonding a plus)
• Strong communication skills & a genuine love for people
• Positive attitude, team mentality, and professionalism
• Willingness to create content (photos/videos) for social with our support
