Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, color application, hair extensions, and hair threading to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Perform aesthetic treatments such as facials, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care with precision and care.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations to ensure client safety.
• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations efficiently.
• Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales opportunities to enhance their experience.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and answering inquiries professionally.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and customer service excellence.
• Upsell retail products confidently to boost sales while providing personalized recommendations based on client needs.
• Support store management with inventory control, retail math calculations, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.

Experience

• Proven experience as a hairstylist or aesthetician with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse skills in hair styling, coloring, and skincare treatments.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Expertise in hair extensions application, color theory principles, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care techniques.
• Certification in cosmetology or barbering is required; additional training in sanitation practices is essential.
• Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling techniques and retail math calculations to maximize revenue.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide outstanding customer service.

Pay: $22.29 - $26.85 per hour
