Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY, retail sales, and store management is preferred. The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of sanitation and professionalism, ensuring every client leaves satisfied and confident.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations

• Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products, nail care items, and other beauty products through upselling techniques

• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and beauty treatments
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations

Experience

• Proven experience as a professional Hairdresser or Cosmetologist with expertise in hair styling, and haircutting techniques

• Familiarity with sanitation practices and store management procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
• Experience in retail sales, upselling, and retail math to maximize product recommendations
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a positive salon experience
• Previous mentoring or leadership experience is a plus
