Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions with precision and creativity
• Provide expert advice on hair care, color theory, and styling techniques tailored to each client’s needs
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with industry regulations and salon protocols
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Offer additional services like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
• Engage with clients at the front desk to ensure a welcoming environment and promote retail products through upselling strategies
• Mentor junior team members and assist in store management duties to foster a collaborative team atmosphere

Skills

• Proven expertise in hair styling, coloring, and hair extensions application
• Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for efficient appointment booking and client records management
• Strong understanding of color theory and advanced haircutting techniques including straight razor work
• Experience with eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to manage retail sales through upselling and retail math proficiency
• Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all salon procedures
