Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, skilled, and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cutting, coloring, styling, and treating hair, and will provide excellent service to clients in a friendly, professional environment. You will be responsible for consulting with clients, recommending styles, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and consult with them to understand their hair goals and preferences.
• Cut, style, shampoo, color, and treat hair using professional techniques and tools.
• Recommend hairstyles and hair care products suited to the client’s hair type and lifestyle.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest hair trends, products, and techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools.
• Adhere to salon health and safety standards.
• Build and maintain a loyal clientele through excellent customer service.
• Upsell salon services and retail products.
• Manage appointment schedules and client records (if required).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role.
• Certification from a recognized cosmetology school (or relevant license as per local/state regulations).
• Excellent knowledge of hair treatments, products, and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a creative flair.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hair extensions, braiding, or chemical treatments.
• Knowledge of scalp treatments and other salon services.
• Sales or upselling experience in a salon setting.
