Duties

• Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, color treatments, and special occasion styles.
• Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance client looks.
• Perform hair threading and makeup application to complete the beauty package.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following salon protocols.
• Use salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.
• Assist clients at the front desk with check-in, product recommendations, and retail upselling.
• Manage store operations including inventory management, retail sales, and store management tasks.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on techniques like straight razor shaves and color theory.
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills and personalized service.
• Promote salon services and retail products through effective upselling strategies to increase revenue.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus.
• Knowledge of salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and point-of-sale transactions.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Expertise in color theory to create customized color solutions for clients.
• Skilled in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves when applicable.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and team members.
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively.
• Experience with store management tasks such as inventory control and front desk operations.
• Capable of mentoring colleagues on advanced techniques like makeup application and hair styling trends.
