Title: Halfway House Server/Attendant
Objective:
The primary purpose of the Halfway House Server / Attendant is to independently manage and operate the club’s Halfway House facility while delivering exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests on the golf course. This position requires strong accountability, hospitality skills, and the ability to work autonomously. The Halfway House Server / Attendant is responsible for food and beverage preparation, bartending service, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked operation throughout each shift.
Responsibilities, Essential Duties & Expectations:

Independently open, operate, and close the Halfway House facility

Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to members and guests

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club policies

Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service (must be 21+)

Prepare simple food items according to established recipes and safety standards

Maintain consistent food and beverage quality and presentation

Manage and monitor daily inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies

Communicate ordering needs to management in a timely manner

Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all products

Ensure compliance with health department and alcohol service regulations

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility at all times

Accurately process transactions through the POS system

Handle member requests and resolve concerns in a professional manner

Monitor pace of play flow and anticipate member needs during peak times

Troubleshoot operational challenges independently and report significant issues to management

Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly

Prior bartending experience preferred or strong willingness and ability to learn

Physical Requirements, Working Conditions and Other factors:

Work is performed primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, humidity, wind, and sun exposure

Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions

Must be able to stock coolers and storage areas

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with members and guests

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Must be 21 years of age or older

Prior bartending experience preferred
