Hand Therapist/Occupational Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist with a strong background and clinical expertise in hand therapy with varying patient demographics from adolescents to geriatrics

Responsibilities

• Primary functions are to provide applicable occupational therapy care for patients with various hand, wrist and elbow diagnoses in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Major duties include: patient evaluation and treatment including producing custom made splints and orthoses, electronic medical record documentation, maintain expected productivity levels (including special assignments), special projects and duties as assigned
• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental health to determine their needs for occupational therapy.
• Develop personalized care plans that address the specific goals of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home care strategies.
• Participate in early intervention programs for patients requiring immediate support.

• Ability to assist patients with diverse needs, ensuring a compassionate approach to therapy.

Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
