Handmade Volume Lash Extensionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a volume lash extension specialist to join our team 3 nights a week and during the day on fridays.

The hours are 2-8pm tues-thurs (no lunch break w/a 6hr shift) and 9-4pm on Friday (w/a 30 min lunch break if desired).

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Esthetician or Cosmotologist so that you can do both lash and brow services. If you do not hold a MO license, only lash extension services may legally be provided in our salon

Duties/Qualifications:

• If licensed: perform a range of esthetic services including lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, eyebrow waxing and/or threading, and eyebrow laminations
• If not licensed: apply classic ,hybrid, and handmade volume lashes extensions that are not too long or too heavy for the client's natural lashes, and not stuck together or partially completed. 90% of the natural lashes should be filled and/or completed during a full set​. And fills should have all extensions removed and re-applied that have grown out 2mm's or more.
• Able to work the hours we are hiring for and not asking to change your schedule after getting hired.
• Teachable: using our products/methods for services and what retail items we have for the client's home needs
• Educate clients on the services tailored to their individual needs without causing damage to their eyes, natural lashes or brow hairs, with a thorough consultation
• Willing to learn and build upon The Lash Room and Brow Bar's service techniques, employee agreement forms, client consent forms, booking policies, client communication methods and professionalism; abiding by them on a daily basis
• Manage client appointments using Square software, Adobe Acrobat, and Square texting to ensure proper scheduling, electronic filing, client notifications and messaging
• Maintain cleanliness-as outlined in the employee agreement; organization and cleaning standards met for individual and shared work spaces
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent guest services, communication and personalized care.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide the best service possible.
• Pay is sliding scale commission through direct deposit every other week
• Complete the 90 day new-hire guidelines (discussed in detail at the interview)

Experience

• If not licensed: Minimum 1 year of lash extension service experience, with lash extension portfolio showing classic, hybrid and volume lashes and ability to map and customize per individual client.
• If licensed, can provide a portfolio with classic and volume lash extensions, lash lifting, brow waxing/tinting/lamination treatments.
• Demonstrates past experience of being able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, while always being on time for beginning of the shift
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients before and during appointments while understanding their individual needs gathered during consult.
• Come to work looking professional, well groomed and consistent in appearance every shift.
