Job Purpose:
The Handover Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the final project delivery stage, acting as the link between the Development Department and Handover Operations. The role ensures that all documentation, technical requirements, and quality standards are fully completed, verified, and accepted in alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and validate handover documentation, including As-Built Drawings, Test Certificates, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, and Method Statements.

Monitor the development team’s work to ensure alignment with contractual, technical, and regulatory project requirements.

Verify completed works against approved specifications, standards, and quality benchmarks.

Prepare and submit periodic handover progress reports.

Ensure all project deliverables are fully compliant with agreed specifications and ready for client acceptance.

Identify and escalate deviations or risks impacting project delivery timelines or quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, quality, operations) to resolve handover-related issues efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

3–5 years of professional experience in construction, infrastructure, & real estate.

Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and handover procedures.

Excellent technical documentation, verification, and reporting skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.

Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Advanced MS Office skills; knowledge of project management tools is preferred.
