Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional.

Candidate must have the following items to be considered for the job:

Reliable vehicle ( preferably truck or cargo van)

Common tools for work often performed:

• light carpentry
• drywall install/repair
• painting
• minor plumbing
• minor electric
• appliance repair (preferred, not required)
• tile work
• flooring work
• trim work

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct repairs on appliances, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
• Install and assemble furniture, equipment, and other items according to specifications.
• Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Skills

• Proficiency in a variety of repair techniques including plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols related to maintenance tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
