What You’ll Do

• Perform a wide range of residential and commercial repairs including:
• Door repair and hardware installation
• Minor plumbing (fixtures, pipe repairs, leaks)
• Minor electrical (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
• Carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
• Conduct preventative maintenance to identify issues early.
• Collaborate with property managers and clients to understand job needs.
• Use our mobile app to log hours, upload photos, track expenses, and record notes.
• Respond promptly to service requests and on-site emergencies.
• Represent Fixxa with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude — you’re the go-to person for fixing things.
• Familiarity with basic tools and repair techniques.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects; physically able to handle repair work.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel (up to 25%).

Preferred Qualifications

• No formal construction experience required — just the mindset and drive to learn.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge (a plus).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in customer-facing roles (restaurant, retail, or service industry).

Experience

• Construction or Maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)

Location & Travel

• Based in Minneapolis, MN (preferred)
• Travel up to 25% required
