Job Title: Handyman Worker

This is not a construction job - it is a service job.

Background checks are required.

Handymen Workers will work under the supervision of a more experienced Service Technician.

Handymen worker work on a variety of task related to building and property maintenance, repairs, and installations. Handyman laborers duties and capabilities typically include (and are not limited to) basic repairs, landscaping duties, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, small electrical, tiling, cleaning, digging, trenching, assembling, hanging items, and various home improvement and remodeling projects, general upkeep, furniture assembly, and cleaning tasks, often acting as the essential "go-to" resource. Adapting at both working independently and collaborating effectively as a TEAM under a service technician. Must have / own basic tools in hand.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Reliable Transportation (job requires you to travel to residential and commercial location service sites throughout El Paso in a day. (does vary, this is not a stationary warehouse job - vehicles NOT provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical ability to remain standing for most of your shift.
• Knowledge of basic tools and correct use, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Perform manual labor both outdoors and indoors and work in one or more areas including but not limited to.
• Work, repair, assist, pick up, clean up, sweep up, empty trash cans, dumbing debris, loading and performing errands and cleaning as needed per job requirements (lifting more than 50lbs at times).
• Landscape maintenance duties: removing weeds, mowing, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, irrigation management, removing debris and overall landscape care.
• Work independently at times, performing tasks efficiently and responsibly with minimal guidance or direction.
• Self-motivated, responsible, communication oriented and committed to your duties.
• Follow safe work practices
• Follow D Handymen LLC policies, procedures and instructions.
