Job Summary:

We’re seeking a skilled and versatile Flooring Contractor to join our team in a dynamic role focused on flooring installation, handyman tasks, and deliveries. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), excels at trim work, has a basic understanding of construction, and is eager to learn. This full-time position is perfect for a professional with a clean driving record and a commitment to delivering quality work with a customer-friendly approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Install various flooring types, including carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and sheet vinyl, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Perform precise trim work, including baseboards, transitions, and moldings, to ensure a polished finish.

Execute handyman tasks such as minor repairs, subfloor preparation, and other construction-related support for flooring projects.

Handle deliveries of flooring materials to job sites or customers’ homes, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Interact professionally with customers at job sites, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor.

Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet company standards.

Qualifications:

Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred) to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

2+ years of experience in flooring installation, handyman work, or related construction/trade roles, with strong skills in trim work.

Basic understanding of construction principles (e.g., framing, subfloor prep, or general carpentry).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for deliveries.

Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 lbs. and work in various job site conditions.

Customer service experience, with strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional client interactions.

Eager to learn new techniques and adapt to company-specific processes (training provided).

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week).

Own basic tools (e.g., tape measure, utility knife, hammer) preferred; specialty tools provided.
