Located in the heart of Strawberry, Arizona, The Strawberry Inn is a 30-room boutique hotel known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest service. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for every guest and are seeking a reliable handyman to help maintain our property.

Position Overview

As a Handyman, you’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks across the property. This role is perfect for someone self-motivated, hands-on, and flexible, with a passion for keeping things in top shape. Work is as-needed, with some weeks busier than others.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on fixtures, furniture, and equipment
• Conduct minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Assist with painting, plastering, and general property upkeep
• Repair doors, walls, ceilings, and roofs as needed
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests
• Take on ad-hoc or emergency tasks (e.g., snow removal)
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols
• Identify and report major repair needs to management

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work varying hours as needed
• Live within a 20-minute commute (Pine or Strawberry preferred)
• Clean driving record and no criminal history
• Valid Driver’s License required
