Handyman/Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that work sites are safe, efficient, and completed to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in multiple trades while contributing to diverse construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and installations on residential, commercial, and industrial properties using hand tools and power tools.
• Assist with construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, roofing, masonry, and concrete finishing.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely to support site activities.
• Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Install fixtures, cabinetry, glass, doors, trim carpentry elements, and other building components with precision.
• Prepare surfaces through plastering, caulking, painting, or restoration techniques to achieve quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction or related trades with familiarity in construction site operations.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution.
• Experience with various construction disciplines including carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
