Handyman – Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our facility management team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, be proactive, and able to handle a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and basic AC work.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and report any issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required.
• Install, replace, or repair fixtures, appliances, and basic fittings.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
• Support other facility management tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Handyman, Technician, or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry works.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to travel to different client locations if required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification in maintenance, electrical, or plumbing (preferred).
• UAE experience is an advantage.
