Position Title: Seasonal Harborside Grill Server
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports to: Harborside Grill Supervisor
Supervises: None
Position Summary: The position is responsible for providing daily food service with a high execution of professionalism and hospitality. The Harborside Grill provides premium poolside service for members and their guests, abiding by the service standards of the Club. The staff will be expected to have an excellent understanding of outdoor, table-side service. The Harborside Grill Staff will also be expected to go above and beyond to deliver memorable events, while bringing a high level of energy and professionalism. Work will generally be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Employment Status: Seasonal employees can expect a consistent schedule from (approximately) April to October each year. Each October, employees are allowed to submit requests to transition to either part-time or full-time status. The approval of these requests will be based on the needs of the Club and the employee's performance track record.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent in appropriate experience
Two or more years’ experience in a similar position preferred
Ability to work scheduled hours including, when necessary, holidays and weekends
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Lifting, bending, twisting, reaching crouching, and crawling throughout the course of the job
Being on your feet for an extended period of time

Ability to evaluate guest satisfaction and responsiveness
Collecting checks and payments for items served
Carefully following all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service
Slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary
Continually seek to enhance knowledge and skills related to service
Maintaining self-awareness of members’, management and peers
Assumes responsibility for the department by:
Assisting supervisors in maintaining proper inventory levels
Maintaining service areas in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
Communicating with supervisors and peers concerning ongoing projects
