Hardscape (construction) Crew Lead (1-2 years experience required)

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in doing to join our company as a landscape/construction lead.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in various areas of construction. Equipment operation and excavation would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

· Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crew members as a working construction leader during all phases of a project.

· Ensure your crew meets daily, weekly, and quarterly performance and quality goals.

· Understand and meet production rates to meet schedules and budget requirements while maintaining quality finished product.

· An ability to assess situations then effectively and efficiently provide solutions to problems as they arise.

· Responsible for completing and maintaining all paperwork and photo documentation throughout each project.

· Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures including conducting daily safety huddles on site.

· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 1-2 years of construction experience

· Current driver’s license (Must have possessed for a minimum of 3 years)

· Currently hold or be able to obtain DOT Physical Card

· Clean driving record

· Strong leadership and organizational skills

· Effective time management skills

· Basic math skills

· Be able to work well with others

· Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

· Understand and follow oral and written instructions

· Must be a team player – ability to see big picture – coordinate your day to get work done correctly and efficiently and be able to help elsewhere if needed

Preferences:

· CDL

· Proficiency in various construction aspects such as reading blueprints & schematics, site layout, site work, excavation, reading grade, equipment operation

· Construction or safety certifications you may possess

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
