Hardscape Foreman / Machine Operator | Full-Time | $32–$38/hr | Franklin, MA

Pay: $32–$38/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8–10 hr shifts; OT & weekends as needed) | Full-Time

Location: Franklin, MA

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a hardscape crew on installation projects

• Operate excavators, skid steers, and compact loaders for site prep and material handling

• Read and interpret project plans, layouts, and elevations

• Coordinate daily site activities: excavation, base prep, drainage, and final installation

• Train and mentor crew members on techniques, equipment operation, and safety

• Inspect and maintain equipment; keep job sites organized, clean, and safe

Requirements

• Proven experience installing patios, retaining walls, pavers, stone steps, and outdoor living features

• Skilled in operating heavy machinery: excavators, skid steers, compact loaders

• Strong leadership and crew management skills

• Ability to read plans, troubleshoot onsite, and ensure proper grading, drainage, and compaction

• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)

• Able to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
