Hardscape / Landscape Designer Estimator

Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Designer / Masonry Estimator to join our growing team. This role involves creating innovative landscape designs, accurately estimating project costs, and collaborating closely with clients and construction teams to bring outdoor visions to life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape architecture, civil engineering, and construction estimation, with proficiency in industry-standard software tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape and hardscape designs utilizing SketchUp, AutoCAD or similar software.
• Prepare detailed project estimates including material costs, labor.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate ideas into detailed plans incorporating horticulture, and sustainable practices.
• Create visual presentations and renderings with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, to ensure designs meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
• Assist in project management tasks such as reviewing order, Dig Safe, and ensuring timely delivery of all design phases.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in landscaping, hardscape features, sustainable design principles.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape architecture or civil engineering with a focus on hardscape and landscape design.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS software (ArcView/ArcGIS), and Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance.
• Experience in construction estimating outside kitchens, all encompassing patio living spaces and the ability to manage the project.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management.
