Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hardware Architect to lead the design and development of advanced hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture, embedded platforms, and high-performance hardware solutions, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and seamless integration with software and firmware components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect complex hardware systems and components, including SoCs, FPGAs, and high-speed boards.
- Define and drive hardware architecture strategies aligned with business and product objectives.
- Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Develop and maintain detailed hardware specifications, design documentation, and standards.
- Oversee the complete hardware development lifecycle — from concept, simulation, and validation to production.
- Conduct architectural reviews, performance analysis, risk assessments, and design validation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and guide make/buy decisions.
- Mentor and guide hardware engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
- Contribute to IP strategy development, patent filings, and technical publications.
- Represent the hardware function in executive-level discussions and strategic planning.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering complex hardware systems such as SoCs, FPGAs, ASICs, and high-speed circuit boards.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Cadence Allegro, Altium, LT Spice, Tina, BQR Reliability Tool, Web-Bench, and similar design/simulation environments.
- Strong understanding of communication protocols:
- Industrial: MODBUS, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, PROFIsafe, CIP Safety.
- Interfaces: UART, RS232, RS485, RS422, I2C, SPI, QSPI.
- In-depth experience in electronic circuit design, system integration, and hardware validation.
Desirable Skills:
- System Design and Embedded System Architecture.
- Firmware and Embedded Software Development (RTOS experience preferred).
- Knowledge of system-level design, hardware-software co-design, and cross-domain integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in hardware design, architecture, or product development roles.
