Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hardware Architect to lead the design and development of advanced hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system architecture, embedded platforms, and high-performance hardware solutions, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and seamless integration with software and firmware components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect complex hardware systems and components, including SoCs, FPGAs, and high-speed boards.
  • Define and drive hardware architecture strategies aligned with business and product objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Develop and maintain detailed hardware specifications, design documentation, and standards.
  • Oversee the complete hardware development lifecycle — from concept, simulation, and validation to production.
  • Conduct architectural reviews, performance analysis, risk assessments, and design validation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and guide make/buy decisions.
  • Mentor and guide hardware engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and innovation.
  • Contribute to IP strategy development, patent filings, and technical publications.
  • Represent the hardware function in executive-level discussions and strategic planning.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven expertise in designing and delivering complex hardware systems such as SoCs, FPGAs, ASICs, and high-speed circuit boards.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools: Cadence Allegro, Altium, LT Spice, Tina, BQR Reliability Tool, Web-Bench, and similar design/simulation environments.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols:
  • Industrial: MODBUS, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, PROFIsafe, CIP Safety.
  • Interfaces: UART, RS232, RS485, RS422, I2C, SPI, QSPI.
  • In-depth experience in electronic circuit design, system integration, and hardware validation.

Desirable Skills:

  • System Design and Embedded System Architecture.
  • Firmware and Embedded Software Development (RTOS experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of system-level design, hardware-software co-design, and cross-domain integration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in hardware design, architecture, or product development roles.
