We're looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop FPGA IPs for both existing and new systems, focusing on surpassing customer expectations in quality and timely delivery.
  • Assess third-party IP for complex protocols.
  • Integrate third-party FPGA IP into existing and new FPGA systems.
  • Develop simulation and test environments to demonstrate protocol integration.
  • Write host software to drive test environments.
  • Create deliverable demo designs for integrations.
  • Generate documentation and reference material for at-speed interface integrations.
  • Conduct system-level integration and execute necessary verification tasks.

Job Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
  • 0–3 years of experience in digital design, FPGA design flow, and interfacing.
  • Proficiency in Verilog HDL or VHDL.
  • Hands-on experience in FPGA implementation, from design constraints to timing analysis.
  • Familiarity with logic synthesis and synthesis report analysis.
  • Proficiency in functional simulation.
  • Knowledge of contemporary protocols such as PCIe, UFS, MIPI UniPro, NVMe, USB, SATA, SAS, Ethernet, and DDRx.
  • Familiarity with the Xilinx development workflow (Vivado + Vitis).
  • Understanding of embedded programming is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Perl/Shell) is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge effectively.

Our Benefits & Rewards

The salary range for this position is $17,700 to $35,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
