Job Title: Hardware Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Lead to drive the design, development, and execution of high-performance hardware solutions. This role involves leading a team of hardware engineers, managing end-to-end development cycles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge industrial products, including high-speed designs, mixed-signal embedded systems, gateways, and I/O devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete hardware design process for high-speed circuits, mixed-signal embedded products, industrial gateways, and I/O systems.
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide hardware engineers through all stages of design, development, and testing.
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, systems, and mechanical engineering teams to define specifications and optimize product architecture.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, component evaluations, and assessments of emerging hardware technologies.
  • Ensure designs comply with regulatory and industry standards, including EMI/EMC compliance.
  • Manage project timelines, resource planning, and budgets to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Perform and lead regular design reviews, ensuring quality, reliability, and best engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve hardware issues during prototype development and testing.
  • Stay updated with trends in electronics, circuit design, and next-generation hardware technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in hardware design and product development with proven leadership in projects from concept to production.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, PCB design/layout, and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as Altium, Eagle, or similar, along with circuit simulation software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially under dynamic project timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and development methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industry safety and compliance standards (CE, FCC, UL) is an advantage.
