The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Hardware Manufacturing Technician to join our first-in-class manufacturing team. Reporting to the Hardware Manufacturing Manager, this role is responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting Biolog’s laboratory instrumentation products.

Requirements:

Where You Make a Difference

• Build, assemble, and test laboratory instrumentation products following established procedures
• Construct sub-assemblies and components across mechanical, electrical, and optical systems
• Inspect assemblies for defects, report issues, and perform rework as needed
• Communicate process and assembly challenges to Leads and Supervisors (verbally and in writing)
• Support continuous improvement efforts within manufacturing operations

What You Bring

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly of lab instrumentation (preferred)
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and/or system-level troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hand tools, measuring instruments, soldering, wiring, and optical alignment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly/test documentation
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills in a team-based environment

Hourly: $28.00-$30.00/hour
