Position Title: Hardware and RF Testing trainee

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Hardware Test Technician to join our team. The Hardware Test Technician will be responsible for testing and validating hardware products, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. This position requires hands-on experience with electronic components, testing equipment, and troubleshooting hardware failures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Equipment Setup: Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment and instruments, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzer's.
• Hardware Testing: Conduct functional and EMI-EMC test on electronic hardware, ensuring devices meet specified requirements and industry standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot hardware failures or malfunctions, using diagnostic tools and manuals to resolve issues.
• Documentation: Record test results and compile detailed reports, including failure analysis and recommendations for design improvements or solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and product development teams to provide feedback and assist with the design and validation of hardware components.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards by performing regular quality checks and inspections, following established procedures.
• Component Handling: Manage and handle delicate hardware components carefully to prevent damage during testing and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/BTech/BSC/Diploma in Electronics
• Experience: Not mandatory
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in using test equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzer's, and digital multimeters.
• Familiarity with reading circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience with soldering, assembly, and rework of electronic components is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices.
• Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic electronics and strong passion for Electronics testing.
• Familiarity with Electronics components, embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Schematics and PCB design tools
• Soldering of SMD components
