Haul Truck Driver

Job Overview:

A prominent provider of premium construction materials in the United States is looking for a Haul Truck Driver to join its team at the Quarry in Manquin, Virginia. This position requires the safe operation of heavy-duty trucks to transport raw materials such as rock, gravel, and other aggregates within the quarry. Responsibilities include moving materials from the pit to designated areas like the crusher or stockpile, conducting daily pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient truck operation, and strictly following safety regulations and company protocols while driving on-site.

Effective communication with equipment operators, loader operators, and supervisors is essential for coordinating load deliveries and routes. Additionally, the driver will be responsible for maintaining clean equipment, promptly reporting any mechanical or safety concerns, monitoring truck gauges and fluid levels, and assisting with general labor tasks when not engaged in hauling activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
