HAWLEY LANE SHOES ORANGE – STOCK PERSONNEL (Part-time)

Hawley Lane Shoes is seeking an accountable and reliable part-time Stockroom Personnel; the candidate of choice will be responsible for warehousing duties as instructed. The ideal candidate is one who is an energetic, industrious, self-starter and team-player with a positive attitude and flexible schedule. He/She will play a critical role in facilitating the smooth flow of inventory from vendor to customer.

Some of the job duties and responsibilities include:

- Post inventory

- Monitor Physical Inventory

- Monitor theft

- Work on models

- Help with daily inventory needs

- Complete internal shipment by processing and loading transfers

- Work and complete tasks in a timely manner

- Use of Point-Of-Sale systems

- Some medium to heavy lifting

- Assist with the internal transfer of inventory.

- Organizing and managing flow of stockroom.

- Ensure accuracy in physical verification of stock.

- Exercise caution and safety when conducting duties.

- Ensure compliance with stockroom procedures, polices and protocols when conducting duties.

- Meet goals and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

- Ensure effective movement of stock within and between stores.

- Ensure quantities of outgoing products are accurate.

- Learn about products and their locations.

- Maintain good communication with colleagues.

- Foster excellent attitude towards teamwork and be open to constructive feedback.

- Maintain professional attitude and appearance.

- Always aim to maximize productivity and smooth process flow in the stock department.

Requirements

- Be a team player (works well with others)

- Be a self-motivated go-getter

- Be able to maintain a safe clean working environment

- Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite (excel, word, PowerPoint etc.)

- Be able and open to learning to use computer software needed for the job

- Be able to operate Point-of-sale system

- Excellent communication and time management skills

- Able to work quickly and efficiently

- Familiar with warehousing and inventory processes

- 3-5 years’ experience

- Bilingual a plus

- Flexible schedule

- Able to stand for extensive periods of time

- Able to do Medium to Heavy lifting

- Be attentive to details

- Positive attitude and energy

- Ability to multitask

Pay: $17.00 per hour
