HAZOP CHAIRMAN SERVICE

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
• Certified HAZOP Leader with 10+ years of experience in oil & gas or energy projects
• Align HAZOP outcomes with international safety standards (e.g., IEC 61511, API RP 521) and local regulatory frameworks
• Experience with QATAR Energy Projects is an added advantage
• Familiarity with P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and pipeline simulation tools
• Knowledge of international standards: API RP 521, ASME B31.4/B31.8, IEC 61508/61511
• Proven track record in chairing HAZOP studies for pipeline systems (onshore/offshore)
• Strong understanding of pipeline-specific hazards and mitigation strategies
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and technical writing skill
• Familiarity with SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments and IEC 61511 standards
• Provide expert guidance on SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments and other process safety reviews
• Additional certifications in Process Safety Management (PSM) or Risk Assessment are highly desirable
• Strong facilitation and leadership skills to guide diverse teams through structured HAZOP sessions
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to synthesize technical input into clear, actionable safety recommendations
• Lead risk identification and analysis for pipeline systems, including flow assurance, corrosion, surge, and third-party interference
• Collaborate with design and operations teams to integrate safety recommendations into project execution
• with valid QID with NOC
