HCA Caregiver for Adults with Disabilities

Immediate hire! Applicants must have Home Care Aide certification and Social Security Number to apply. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide with up to date certification to join our organization that works with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Seattle. As an HCA caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to residents in their Adult Family Home. Your role will involve assisting with patient personal care, medication assistance, and maintaining accurate documentation. Our organization is one based on mutually transformative relationships. Duties:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming and eating
- Assist/administer medications as prescribed by their provider(s)
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times (walker, wheelchair, and transfers)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Document residents' activities and behaviors and report any changes in condition to a supervisor
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved HCA training program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA)
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy rights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move the patient safely
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude

Salary: $21.30

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week
• Weekday and weekend shifts available
• Overnight shifts available
• Work weeks are created with a combination of day and overnight shifts
